BARNAUL, Russia (Reuters) - Cannot afford to install a sauna in your home? A Russian inventor might have the answer — the mobile sauna. Converted from a military truck, Igor Chupin offers clients a session in the back of his GAZ-66 truck for 1000 roubles ($42.37) per hour. Russians adore saunas, or banyas, spending hours in the steam rooms with friends, swapping stories over tea or vodka. Many hit themselves or others with dried birch leaves to improve the circulation. Chupin said it took him months to build the traveling banya offers the real Russian experience. It has a 400-litre (88-gallon) water tank on top to provide the steam. It is heated with a wood-fired stove.

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Police in the western Canadian town of Wetaskiwin didn’t have to do much work when they arrested a drunk driver at the weekend — he had parked his car next to their offices and wandered inside.  Police discovered the man as they drove by early on Saturday morning to respond to an unrelated call. Although the police office was locked, the lobby was open.

AZUSA, Calif. - Doggone it, my truck’s gone!

Police said Charles McCowan parked his pickup in front of a mini-mart Wednesday, leaving his 36-kilogram Boxer named Max in the passenger seat. When he came out, the truck and Max were gone and McCowan called police, assuming the truck had been stolen. When officers arrived, they found the pickup across the street in a fast-food parking lot but had no idea how it got there. In security video shown Thursday on KCAL-TV, the truck can be seen rolling backward out of the store lot and across the street, threading its way through traffic and out of view. Police said that after McCowan left the truck, Max knocked the vehicle out of gear and sent it rolling backward. (by Associated press)
